遅くなってすいません。。。
hello!!
this is maki, the chief of the world booth:D
actually, ayaka told me to write here about a month ago, but im just writing now... im sorry:(
by the way.... we have only a week left for the infes!!!!!!
i just cant believe that we have been working on this since may or something, and we'll finish it next week!!lol
i joined this comittee because i wanted to do sth else but job-hunting, and because i wanted to make a wonderful memory at KGU(im in my last year).
but there were not always only good things happening, but also hardships or difficulties to make the world booth...we have so many different thought, there were so many misunderstanding or miscommunication btwn us, blah blah blah...lol
but i can remember someone always helped me such as miho, shizuko(they two are the sub-chiefs), ayaka(my boss;her hometown is same as mine, and i really felt easy to talk with her all the time), other japanese members, and of course international members!!
thats why i could keep doing the infes, and i really appreciate everyone:D
because of the infes, i feel like i am learning something invaluable. now i think i am experiencing something very hard but very worth. as i say before, we are gonna finish this soon, but i will do what i do in order to say "we did it!!!" when its over.
i know all members(japanese and international members from all over the world) worked on the worldbooth really hard, so i really hope we're gonna have lots of visiters.
and i also hope everyone enjoy the infes or the worldbooth...:)

WBのメンバー中心に書いてるけど、実は、幹部のみんなにはほんまにお世話なってきてます。最後になるけど、ありがとう。あと1週間がんばるね（●‘ｖ’●）

This is my first entry into my new INFES 2009 blog. Ayaka asked me to do this blog last week, but I have been very busy so I have not had a chance to get it started. I'm not really sure what I should write here, so I'll just describe some of the things that me and my friends have been doing while here in Japan!
Last night, my friend Melina and I went to a まつり in Kurama. It was a fire festival that our teacher had told us about. We left Kansai Gaidai around 3 o'clock, taking the Keihan Line to Demachiyanagi, and we switched then to the Eizan line. We took that to Kurama. The train from Demachiyanagi to Kurama was absolutely PACKED. We were all crammed in, and the guards had to push the last few people to make them fit. When we got to Kurama, our first mission was to find food because we hadn't eaten and wanted to do so before the festival got started at 6 o'clock. We walked the full length of the town, and found some food stalls making mochi balls (みたらし団子?), frankfurters, takoyaki, curry, and cat tails (ねこしっぽ？), which are like long thin donuts with either anko or custard inside of them. I tried all of these things, and I especially liked the mochi. As we walked back, a man dressed in all white began the precession with a large torch. As he walked, he screamed "さいり、さいりょ”...I think...which we were told was the name of the temple.
After the first man started, every family in the village carried small, medium, or large torches up and down the main street, until they threw them into a large bon-fire at the steps of the temple. Also, lining the streets were fires in metal lanterns. This lasted for about 4 hours. It was very mesmerizing watching them all walk by with huge torches, carried by 3 or 4 people. The children who helped were very cute in their festival clothing. Eventually my friends and I made our way through the throngs of people, and got a great place to stand right next to two huge gold みこし. They carried them through the streets, still chanting, and eventually took them to a small shrine on the other side of town. Afterwards, they threw dried squid onto the stones around the fire, and then gave it out to everyone. It was very delicious. Then, the passed out cups of sake.
My friends and I then walked around the temple at night, which was cool, and eventually pitched a tent and camped for the night. It was cold outside, but we had sleeping bags so we were pretty warm. The next morning, we woke up and saw the temple in the day, and climbed to the top of the mountain to see all of the shrines. It was absolutely gorgeous. We caught the train back home just in time for my friends oral exam, and for me to do terribly on my Japanese reading exam! Oh well, seeing the temple and the festival were worth not studying!

Its the number of members of INFES!!
Actually, 109 Kansai Gaidai students and 98 overseas students joined the festival!

I'm Reiだよー
実は、Food Booth１のleaderです。
今さらですいませぬ。
あ、洋楽マニアです(笑)
外大の洋楽リスナーの少なさに、
寂しさを感じてます。。。
中学の時の洋楽派の
（ってあたしだけしか、正味聞いてない笑）
アウェイ感を考えると流石にだいじょぶですが☆
まぁ、洋楽のことなら何でも聞いてください！！！
最近は、メタルがアツいです！！！
メタルにも沢山種類があるのですよ☆
Loud park行きたい…
それはさておきですね、
こないだ、広報の彩夏氏とだまし絵展行ってきました！！
芸術の秋ですね！！
久々に絵が描きたーい
もぅ、素晴らしくだまされてきました。
本物と絵の区別がつかなくらい巧妙な、紙が上にかぶせてある絵
絵は平面なのに、どっからどう見ても彫刻みたく掘ってあるように見える絵
扉がほんとに開いてるように見える絵
巨匠たちの巧みな技に口半開き！！！
そして極め付けが、歌川広重の絵やったんですが、
いわゆる影絵を描いていて
いい年したおっさんが意味なく
まつたけとか
急須とか
うさぎとかを
体張って影絵作ってるわけですよ！！
美術館なのに２人で爆笑。
さらには、私帰り道で２度程
思い出し、笑う。
そのくらい衝撃的なだまし絵展でした！！
１１月３日まで兵庫県立美術館でやっとりますので、お時間ある方、芸術に興味のある方一見の価値ありますよ！！
歌川さんの影絵が気になる方は、
即興かげぼづくし
で検索を！！

Starting…
大学内には、チラホラと留学生が増えてきました…！There are many international students at the university these days!
ＩＮＦＥＳがスタートしてきた感をムチャクチャ感じます！

わたくし、ＣＩＥ内で働いています。
I worked at the CIE office.
留学生がＣＩＥのオフィスで「ＩＮＦＥＳって何？」と最近質問してきてくれるようになって…
Recently, some international student ask me about the INFES,
徐々に、ＩＮＦＥＳの認知度が上がっていることを実感して…なんか幸せに浸っています☆
So, I feel Happy because the level of knowing the INFES is up!
だってさー！！！

うちとか、今年の１月位から１１月のＩＮＦＥＳの準備をしてきたんですよ！
I prepared for the INFES sooooooooooooooooooo long time!!
１月ですよ！１月！！笑

もう、企画準備から初めてとうとう９ヶ月目突入ですよ！！
